Camryn Carolina!

Introducing the newest member of the family...
Camryn Carolina Poe
Born Oct.29th

She is the most precious little thing in the world.  We have had a few skype sessions and she has even opened her eyes and said a few words. ;)  I love her so much already and haven't even met her!  My Brother and Ashley will thankfully be making their way home in December so everyone can meet the precious new babe.  I AM SO EXCITED!  I just can't resist... so here are a few more pics:

My oh my...just so too cute for words!

Things in Sassari have been moving right along.  Eurocup started last week (which is another league that the team plays in, they play on Wednesday against different countries) and they started with a win over Sevilla.  It was a great start and everyone is hoping for a successful first round (6 games) of this league.  To move on to the next round you need to be the top two teams out of four in your group.  I know...confusing!  Don't worry I will keep you updated here!  As far as the Italian League they are currently in 2nd place with their first loss coming last week to Brindisi.

We celebrated Halloween as a team here and had a little party and then a very long dinner...about 3 hours to be exact!  Finally at the end of it all they served huge platters of meat on cork board (see pic).  It was an interesting experience, and a fun night for everyone to be together.  Now we are gearing up for Thanksgiving...which is such a fun time.  The team will actually get back that day from a road trip, so I am sure Ro and I will be preparing yummy food all day!  (I use the term "we" loosely, Ro is a fabulous cook so I follow her lead).  Looking forward to a great holiday with our friends!

Louis and Karina or should say the Indian and Lady Bug :)

Halloween spirit!!

Dinner

We think they added the lettuce to make it seem not SO unhealthy...

A little over 3 weeks till I head home...getting excited!!

Ciao tutti!

Fall, family and fun!

Another great visit from Mimi and Joe is in the books!  We had a fun time exploring some new things and things they have already seen.  Being so close to the city center was so great because we could walk and explore something new almost everyday.  One thing that was so awesome was a new archaeological site that opened in Sassari last year.  The bad thing was you couldn't take pictures, so no proof!  It was pretty amazing and too think that three years ago when we were here...they didn't even know it was there!  We loved having the Binett's here and happy they made the trip to visit! :)

Here is a picture re-cap of the last month!

Some of the wives in our new court side seats...talk about being close to the action!

A quick visit to Stintino before picking up the Binetti's.

Alghero on a beautiful day!

Great pic!

What are you thinking about??

Such a happy girl to find some Fall Pumkins!  It definitely wasn't as elaborate as the American pumpkin patches but it sure made me happy :)

Castelsardo from the other side.

SO incredible...I love this town.

Nonni...this picture is for you!  When you and Papa were visiting you ate here a few years ago!

The school of Faramcia...Joe wants to come and study here :)

An unexpected night at a local Oktoberfest with Gini, Ro, and Ashley (Ro's friend) ...fun times!

Another great shot from Alghero!

Game time...after a good win!

T.J and Dad. this is for you...they were selling live bait in a vending machine!!  Ha, we need one of these at the lake ;)

Something exciting that is happening soon is that my Brother and Sister in law are going to have their first baby!!  We are anxiously waiting for an email with the news of labor!  It is hard to be so far away at times like this, but very happy to have skype.  I will obviously keep you updated on the baby Poe arrival...should be any day now!

Dinamo is doing super well, and is currently in first place in the league (after 3 games).  They beat Cantu last week which was a huge win...way to go guys.  They head to Venice this weekend to keep the streak alive!

Ciao tutti!!!

Back to beautiful beaches, cappucino's, gelato and crispy clothes...

Lake San Antonio, CA
Is this really the 2012-13 season already?  You bet!  We are back in Sassari (our favorite place) on the same team and in the same apartment.  It honestly feels like we never left...ha!

The team is very similar to last season with a few new teammates...but luckily for me, the Diener wives and babies are back :)  They sure make the season more fun and I just love being around their
 kiddos all the time!

This summer was one that going into it we thought we had less weddings (only about 5 compared to our 10 last summer), less commitments, and maybe even more time to just relax and hang out.  Boy were we wrong...it flew by just the same, maybe even FASTER.  So here we are back in a flash with what are already memories of a super summer in Seattle.

Since I don't blog at all in the summer I should probably do a picture run down of things that went on...so here it goes:  SUMMER 2012...Binetti style!

It was such a great summer, and always hard to say good bye and pack our lives in 2 suitcases and move back to Italy.  Like I mentioned before at least we are back here in a place that God has created to be so beautiful and we intend to soak it up.

However, there are a few little things I will be missing...soft clothes (no dryer here), Starbucks, Doritios, sour candy, drive thru's (or any fast food), Nordstrom, my car, the lake, work BUT mostly

FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!

Ciao tutti!
